I am pleased with this wheelchair as it is much lighter than the standard NHS chair. I would however have preferred it to be smaller when folded, as it is bigger than I expected. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews
I want to add that we have been really impressed by this product – it is lightweight but sturdy and my wife brought her mother to Kenya and was perfect for the trip, the airline were super cooperative with bringing it on board (BA) and a total enabler for them all (my wife travelling with 9 month old and mother who can’t walk).
We had previously tried one of the fold up ones advertised in the weekend papers and it was rubbish, poorly made and flimsy and the carry bag broke upon first lift – this is 1000% better, especially given its almost identical price.
Bought this as it looked as if my very elderly mother might need a hip replacement, however just days after receiving the wheelchair she had a heart attack and boy, has it proved useful. It is so well made and easy to erect. Stows away in the back of my car and is easy to use. If you need a folding wheelchair then you really can’t go wrong with this one.

Chair delivered on time. Well pleased. But was in wrong box with wrong instructions, I contacted firm, who very quickly sent right instructions and apology; the top man sent his card and name. I really liked that, they CARED!!. Which is a big plus. Well done to them. The chair itself is very strong, but light, i am not a big guy but had no trouble, lifting it or moving it, my wife found it very comfortable, even on cobbles and uneven surfaces, I must say though that, put a pressure cushion in it and it is better still. the wife was nodding off at one time.. Exactly what it says on the tin – this is light weight easy to manoeuvre wheelchair I would strongly recommend it.
An excellent product for helping an elderly relative get out and about. Easily portable and no effort required to manoeuvre. Very good value for money
